Abstract: With the large-scale connection of 5G base stations (BSs) to the distribution networks (DNs), 5G BSs are utilized as flexible loads to participate in the peak load regulation, where the BSs can be divided into base station groups (BSGs) to realize zonal energy transfer.
With the rapid development of 5G mobile communication technology, the number of 5G users has significantly increased, leading to a corresponding expansion in network capacity . To meet the growing user demand, researchers have begun to focus on improving the throughput of base stations (e.g. Refs. [2, 3]).
In previous research on 5 G wireless networks, the optimization of base station deployment primarily relied on human expertise, simulation software, and algorithmic optimization.
The research on 5G base station load forecasting technology can provide base station operators with a reasonable arrangement of energy supply guidance, and realize the energy saving and emission reduction of 5G base stations.
